Minutes of our Seri Sinar Green Run project sub-committee meeting on 05-10-2008.

 

Place of  Meeting:  K. K. Kopitiam, Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park.

Time:    10.20 am.

Project Chairman:  Jimmy Tang Chee Choon (absent)

Project Secretary: Mr Andrew Lim Hong See.(absent)

  1. Routing Confirmation. Open run route has been identified last week while fun run & family run will be finalized later.
  2. Letter of sponsorship.  Letter of sponsorship to be drafted and issued by this week to respective people who have agreed  to seek sponsors. Mr Chan Weng Kwai informed that Jimmy Tang will be approaching New Balance on Monday/Tuesday to discuss on sponsporship deal.
  3. Prices & Medal. Discussion was brought up for open category ( Men & Women). A total of RM2800.00 will be allocated for cash prize. ( 1st RM 300, 2nd RM 200, 3rd RM 100, 4th  RM50, 5th  RM50)  for Men & Women Open and Veteran.
  4. Registration Forms, Fees & Running Shirts. Registration fees has been suggested : Family/Fun Run (RM 15 with T-shirt) and Open Run (RM 25 with running vest). Registration form is to be uploaded by Andrew to the website  once draft is finalized by Mr Jimmy Tang.
  5. Project Budget/Costing. Seri Sinar Green Run has been budgeted at  RM 50,000.00.

Please note that the above preliminary budget is for 1,000 participants and the respective person in charge is responsible to submit their detailed budget by next meeting.

 

  1. Association registration is still pending. To be finalized by Chan Chee Pong by next meeting.
  2. Club objective ( DO’s) is promote healthy living, improve sense of well being and  to instill the sense of togetherness as well as to  encourage participation in sports within Bukit Jalil neighbourhood. (DON’Ts ) is courting among club members prohibited within different/same gender. No business intention motive. No Religious/Politic/Racial tensions motive.
  3. Club Regulation. Working committee for the Seri Sinar Green Run must attend meetings at all time. Those who fail to submit reason or absent without apology 3 times will be relieved of his/her position and responsibility in the committee. As for those who absent 3 times ( with reason ) will be subjected to vote by the committee if they should still stay on.
  4. Others. Ms Lim brought up schedule of meeting frequency  need to be discussed by next week. This is so that all members can plan their time in advance. Suggestion to have fortnightly first then more frequent towards nearing event date. Mr Chan Chee Pong also added to keep meeting duration to 1 ½ hours max.
